Enter the doses and timing your prescriber gave you. Ostin follows them from there.

1. On first launch, choose your medication, or Custom.
2. Enter each dose step and how long it lasts, in weeks or in shots.
3. Change it any time in Shots › Edit Plan.

Prescribed in syringe units (like “inject 10 units”)? In Edit Plan › Vial, enter the concentration from the label and turn on Measure doses in syringe units.

Tell Ostin where you are and it fills in your history.

1. During setup, turn on I've already started.
2. Enter the date and dose of your last shot, and how many shots you've had at that dose.

You can edit or delete those shots later in Shots › History.

Usually a notification setting. Check these two places:

1. iPhone Settings › Notifications › Ostin: allow notifications.
2. In Ostin, Settings › Reminders: shot-day reminders on.

Reminders are set up on each device, so open Ostin once on a new phone.

Through your private iCloud account, automatically.

1. Make sure Settings › Data › Sync with iCloud is on.
2. Sign in to the same Apple Account on each device.

Everyone in a household uses their own Apple Account, so each person's data stays separate.

Ostin reads protein that other apps save to Apple Health.

1. In the other app, turn on writing nutrition to Apple Health.
2. In the Health app, Profile › Apps › Ostin: allow Dietary Protein.

Export one backup file and keep it somewhere safe.

1. Settings › Data › Export Backup, then save it to Files or iCloud Drive.
2. To bring it back: Settings › Data › Restore from Backup.

One step removes everything Ostin stores, on all your devices.

1. Settings › Data › Erase All Data, and confirm three times.

Data in Apple Health is managed separately, in the Health app.

Your purchase is tied to your Apple Account.

1. Settings › Ostin Plus › Restore Purchases.

Family members get Plus through Family Sharing.

No. Ostin records and follows the plan your prescriber gives you.
